This information is used for site operation, security maintenance, and access statistics. When not logged in, bookmarks are saved locally in your browser; reading marks and some preferences are also saved locally; temporary content for Q&A may be saved in the current browser session. When using document Q&A, the questions you submit are sent to this site's service for processing. Do not enter passwords or other sensitive information in your questions. Recent reading history and reading positions are saved only in the current browser and are not uploaded with account login or bookmark synchronization. Recent reading displays up to 50 articles from the last 90 days; expired records are cleaned up when new records are written; you can remove individual items or clear all in "Recent Reading," and the reading position will be cleared accordingly. ## Optional Google / GitHub Login and Bookmark Synchronization You can choose to log in with Google or GitHub in the bookmark panel to synchronize favorites across devices; public reading and local bookmarks do not require login. When logging in, this site uses your Google account identifier and basic profile (name, email, and avatar) to identify your identity, display account information, and maintain the site session. This site does not obtain your Google password, nor does it request additional permissions such as Gmail or Google Drive. GitHub login uses your GitHub user ID, public username, display name, and avatar, and does not request email or repository permissions. The GitHub access token is used by the backend only temporarily for identity verification and is not saved to the database or browser. Google and GitHub logins correspond to independent site accounts and favorites, do not support account binding, and do not automatically merge accounts based on the same email address. After logging in, this site saves the account's bookmark paths, titles, category context, language, and favorite time. Only when you choose to merge will your browser's original local bookmarks be imported into the account; your original local favorites are retained and displayed again after logout. Reading marks are not synchronized. This site uses secure session cookies to maintain login, with a single session lasting up to 30 days. The Google login component is loaded only when you click to log in. If the functionality or data usage changes, this site will update the description and re-solicit authorization when necessary. ## Sharing, Retention, and User Choices This site does not sell personal information, nor does it use third-party login user data for advertising or model training. Hosting, network distribution, and authentication service providers required by the website may process necessary data to provide corresponding services; see the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and [GitHub Privacy Statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement) for third-party service data processing. This site retains data according to operational, security, and user request processing needs; no uniform automatic deletion period is currently promised. You can clear locally saved bookmarks, marks, preferences, and temporary content through your browser settings. You can log out via the account menu in the bookmark panel, or select "Delete Cloud Account" and confirm to delete your site account information and cloud bookmarks, and revoke the site login session; this operation retains browser local favorites. You can also revoke authorization in [Google Third-Party Connections Settings](https://myaccount.google.com/connections) or [GitHub Authorized OAuth Apps](https://github.com/settings/applications). Revoking authorization and deleting data already saved by this site are different operations; if you need to query, correct, or delete site data related to you, please contact the email below and provide necessary information to verify the request.
